Punjab's textile belt — where the craft of shawl-making has been handed down for generations.
Ludhiana has clothed the subcontinent for generations — its mills, dye-houses and knotters are some of the most practised in the country. Sunrise Enterprises grew out of that ecosystem, but with a different brief: build a shawl range that could be ordered once and reordered forever, with no surprises between sample and shipment.
That meant narrowing our focus rather than widening it. Instead of chasing every fibre and finish, we committed to two: Acrylic and Viscose. Each is held to its own fixed weight and length/width specification, so a buyer in Warsaw and a buyer in Dubai receive, quite literally, the same shawl.
Today we operate as a GST-registered exporter and supplier, with documentation, dye-lot records and quality sign-offs ready from the first enquiry — because in export, the paperwork is part of the product.
None of these are slogans — they're the checks a shawl has to pass before it's packed for export.
Jacquard-woven motifs and hand-knotted fringe, finished by hands that have done this for years, not weeks.
Fixed weight and 80/40 length/width specs per fibre line, held steady across every dye lot and shipment.
GST-registered and paperwork-ready for cross-border trade, from the first enquiry to the final invoice.
A team that replies within one business day and stands behind every sample it sends out.
Six stages, in order — the same sequence for every design, every dye lot, every shipment.
Acrylic and Viscose yarn is sourced against fixed specifications, so weight and drape never drift from batch to batch.
Motifs are woven, not printed, to the 80/40 length/width ratio held across the entire range.
Each colourway is dyed for wash-fastness first and shelf presentation second — the order matters for export.
Borders are tasselled and trimmed by hand, the detail buyers notice first when a sample arrives.
Every piece is checked against its fibre line's weight and dimension spec before it's cleared for packing.
Packed with GST-compliant documentation ready, so customs and buyers see the same paperwork we do.
We ship as a registered exporter and supplier out of Ludhiana, Punjab — one of India's oldest textile clusters — with documentation ready for cross-border trade from the first enquiry.
